What is PreFlight
The blueprint for success
PreFlight is our proprietary quality assurance platform for SAP projects that turns the conditions for a successful go-live into a standard, repeatable process. Deliverable quality, workshop assessments, phase closures, and testing results are scored and monitored throughout.
Targets + actions = results
Scores are measured against defined targets. Missed targets automatically trigger clear actions and escalation rules to surface and fix issues as they appear, instead of waiting for a milestone where their cost will be much higher.
Included in every engagement
Every delivery engagement runs on PreFlight, governing how we work, monitor project health, maintain alignment, and provide transparency to you. It is not an add-on service and does not require a separate licence.
The pillars
Measures that matter
Each pillar measures a different part of the process to ensure complete coverage, and each is weighted differently to accurately reflect its impact. Pillar weights are configurable and agreed upon at the start of your project.
Every project deliverable is reviewed by an expert who raises findings by severity. Findings are remediated and their fixes validated before the asset passes.
Workshop quality and engagement are assessed with an anonymous stakeholder survey at the end of each session. Larger sessions carry more weight in the score than small ones.
Each SAP Activate phase in your project closes on a formal quality gate, which evaluates its results and produces a score for that phase before the next one opens.
Test outcomes and pass rates are measured and recorded across test cycles, and which cycle types count toward the score is agreed with you at the start.

The four pillar scores combine into one composite score for your project, summarising everything you need to know about its health. Each band has its defined actions, and the same bands apply to a single pillar and to the project as a whole.
Meets benchmarks. No action.
Minor improvements. Monitor and maintain.

Below minimum threshold. Immediate escalation to Raptors leadership.

You have access to your PreFlight project, giving you a view of the composite score, the four pillar scores, how they moved over time, and the projected timeline. It is the same view we use internally, not a dressed-up dashboard.
Updated as the work happens
Reviews, workshop surveys, phase gates, and test cycles feed the composite score as they happen. You don't have to wait for a monthly report or a steering committee to know where you stand.
Scored from day one
The score exists from the first day of your project. A pillar with no data yet does not hold the score down, so the number reflects the work that has actually been measured so far rather than waiting for all four streams to start.
Coverage
PreFlight and the SAP Activate lifecycle
PreFlight begins where the work does, covering from Prepare to Run. It also integrates with SAP Cloud ALM for test case synchronisation and defect management. Test data moves between the two rather than being maintained twice.
